  Silverton Together’s first family event was the "Celebrate families" Community Picnic in August of 1993. Silverton Together is the host of the family picnic for the Silverton Community. Many partners that make this event possible.

• Free Fish Day 1st Saturday in June
  Silverton Together, in collaboration with the Izaak Walton League, the Silverton Kiwanis Club, the Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Silverton Lions Club, the Silverton Volunteer Fire Department, and the City of Silverton, hosts a Free Fish Day, where children, families and volunteers from the community come together each June at the Silverton Reservoir for a day of trout fishing and fun.

  Funding... Silverton Together, Inc. is a 501c3 charitable non-profit organization. Funding for its many programs is provided, in part, by grants. The remainder of our funding is dependent upon the generosity of community businesses, service groups, and individual contributions. All funds support our mission.   Silverton Together began with a group called Oregon Together designed to help communities assess their own risk factors for adolescent problem behavior and to develop prevention strategies to address those risk factors .Silverton Together is "a group of local citizens who take ownership of efforts in their community to strengthen and support families."
